YOU MUST MAKE THE THERAPIST AWARE IF THERE ARE ANY REASONS YOU SHOULDN'T GO AHEAD WITH A TREATMENT OR OF ANY PAST REACTIONS.

MICROBLADING AND AESTHETICS WILL NEED A COMPULSORY CONSULTATION AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO TREATMENT.

DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED ON BIG APPOINTMENTS AS NO SHOWS AND LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS ARE UNAFFORDABLE. YOUR DEPOSIT IS LOST IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT.

Eyelash Extension Advice

Eyelash extensions have grown in popularity, lasting for weeks at a time but as amazing as they can be there's a few things you should consider before your appointment.

They can take up to two hours to apply so be prepared.

A Skin test is required 48 hours before treatment on any new client. Regular clients should retest if you take a break from lashes.

You should arrive makeup free after using only water based makeup remover.

The professional lash technician will establish the look you would like taking into account your eye shape and condition when choosing lash type & length.

People averagely have between 90 & 160 natural lashes per eye.

There no such thing as permanent lash extensions. Lash extensions are glued to the lashes not the skin. The reason lash extensions are called semi permanent lashes is because we lose between one and 5 natural lashes per day. Over a two week period that can be as much as 20% of your own lashes. As each of your natural lashes falls out so will its lash extension. We cannot control this as each of your lashes has its own life span depending on its growth stage.

They are expensive so remember to consider the cost of maintaining 

them as well as the cost of having them done. We offer 1 week, 2 week & 3 week infills to keep lashes looking their very best.

Classic Lashes

A lash extension is typically attached to each of your own natural lashes with a special glue to create a natural look. 

Hybrid Lashes

A lash extension is attached to each of your own natural lashes, however some lashes will have multiple lashes attached to them by way of hand made fans to produce a slightly more voluminous look.

Russian Volume Lashes

Hand made fans are added to each individual lash to create a full voluminous look. There are more versions of this depending how dramatic a look you like. Weak lashes may not be suitable for these lashes. 

There are many types of lash that will be customised to your needs. They range in length (9mm to 15mm) thickness & different curl shape to suit your eye. We use the best suppliers and stock only products we have come to know & trust.

Lashes can last a long time, some eyes are more suited than others. Watery eyes on application can affect the longevity of your lashes. You should avoid getting them wet and  avoid using any oil based products. 

Your new eyelashes need to be taken care of, they should be brushed morning and night with a spoolie, (disposable mascara wand) but not messed with unnecessarily. we care dirt and oils on our hands so excessive touching will affect the lashes condition.

Mascara should not be used, the whole point of lash extensions is to produce a look that wouldn't need mascara. It will damage the lashes and leave them feeling crusty.

Lash extensions can ruin your natural lashes but they don't have to. If applied correctly and removed correctly by our lash techs they will produce the least damage. The biggest no no is tugging or pulling on them as this is where the most damage can be done.

Please remember the removal needs to be done professionally.

BODY/ EAR PIERCING ADVISE

Children's ear piercing is from 5 years old. We will only pierce a child who walks in eager to have it done and its clear to us they want it done.

We cover all piercings above the waist except tongue piercings

Naval piercings/belly piercings have an age restriction of 13 with a parent and 16 without. We will only pierce under 16's that arrive sure they want it done. ID is required.

A parent is required to attend with any child under 16 for all piercings. ID is required.

Nipple piercings are for the over 18's only.

It takes a minimum of 6 weeks for a piercing to heal. We only pierce with high grade titanium bars and Caflon surgical studs. We use a gun for lobes and needles for all other piercings. Jewellery can be changed after healed which is a minimum of 6 weeks.

Piercings should be kept free from trauma and bathed in salt water to keep clean. You should not touch unhealed piercings with unwashed hands. Lie on clean sheets and pillow cases to avoid germs getting in and causing infection.

If a piercing falls out they close up very quickly so with washed hands always ensure the ball is screwed on tight.
